HCT uses limited, privacy-conscious analytics to understand whether the website is useful and how visitors discover it.
HCT records page views, an anonymous per-session identifier, broad device category, referring website hostname, campaign tags in links, coarse country code when provided by the hosting platform, and interactions such as opening Ask HCT AI, receiving an AI response, selecting an external resource, contacting HCT, or submitting website feedback.
The analytics system does not store visitor names, email addresses, full IP addresses, precise location, device fingerprints, advertising identifiers, or the text of questions submitted to HCT Cyber Advisor.
When a visitor submits the website support and feedback form, the selected issue type, affected page, device category, report text, contact preference, and any optional name or email address are transmitted to HCT through Resend, HCT’s email-delivery provider. Website support requests are routed to HCT’s dedicated website support mailbox; other reports and feedback are routed to HCT’s principal contact. HCT uses that information only to review the report, correct website problems, improve content, and provide follow-up when authorized. The website does not maintain a separate database copy of the submitted report.
These measurements help HCT improve content, identify technical problems, evaluate outreach campaigns, and understand which public resources are useful. Analytics records are retained for up to 12 months and are visible only through an authenticated owner dashboard.
The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile and related hosting protections to reduce automated abuse. Those providers may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website under their own privacy terms.
